Job summary

Prysmian is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery. You will interpret blueprints, use diagnostic tools, and work with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Candidate should have strong safety culture, prior maintenance experience, and the ability to perform semi-skilled and skilled electrical work in a multi-shift environment. Training period followed by assignment to shift work.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Operate Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PP, DataStream, MP7i).

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
• Install, wire and commission electrical panels and field devices.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including power distribution, control panels sensors, relays, contractors, and motor controls.
• Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
• Identify root causes of electrical failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices.
• Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams.
