The Straz Center is seeking a Master Electrician to join our production team. The Master Electrician, in collaboration with and under the general direction of the Senior Director of Production Services, is responsible for lighting production for all shows and events; including, but not limited to, maintenance and repair of all equipment related to electrics; supervising crews in assembly and focus of lighting as specified by the Lighting Director; supervising and operating all performances of productions; attending tech / dress rehearsals and specified production meetings; and advancing and working with all traveling electrics technicians.
