Job description

Position Overview

This position is contingent upon contract award. Amentum is seeking a Master Electrician to support an upcoming INSCOM G-4 Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering (GILE) Support contract. These services will support tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units, personnel, and their ground and aerial intelligence equipment and operations facilities and infrastructure, potentially across multiple locations.

Responsibilities and Requirements

1. Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift 50 lbs.
2. Utilize safe work practices, especially regarding energized work, working at heights, and confined spaces, in accordance with OSHA regulations.
3. Technical understanding of power generation operation and maintenance; certification from a power generation manufacturer is preferred.
4. Subject matter expertise with the provisions and applications of the National Electric Code (NEC), and ability to select and install domestic and foreign materials and devices under the NEC.
5. Fluent in English, with the ability to read, write, and comprehend technical documentation, schematics, and diagrams written under ANSI standards.
6. Ability to liaise with the Directorate of Public Works and BASOPS to coordinate maintenance and repairs performed to standard.
7. Must possess a U.S. government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI). Some positions may require a polygraph.
8. Educational qualifications include a college, vocational school, or high school diploma or equivalent, combined with 10 years of education and experience leading to licensure as a Master Electrician, or equivalent licensure or certification at a state level; or 12 years of experience in an equivalent military electrician training or certification.
