Job summary

LAUKOA seeks a Master Driver / Driver Training Technical Instructor to serve as the primary subject-matter expert for Army driver training, licensing, and related GCSS-Army functions. This role will lead instructor development, oversee licensing programs, and support field operations in Georgia and adjacent locations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Army driver-training/related logistics, strong instructional skills, and proficiency with MS Office for reporting and training products.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of Army Master Driver, driver-training, licensing, transportation, or related logistics experience.
• Strong knowledge of Army driver-training and licensing processes.
• Knowledge of GCSS-Army driver-management functions applicable to unit programs.
• Experience working with License Instructors, License Examiners, or unit Master Driver programs.
• Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners and provide hands-on technical coaching.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications used for reports, presentations, and training products.

• Prepare or contribute to briefings, trend reports, training records, and other required products.

Position Summary

Primary Responsibilities

• Teach the GCSS-Army Master Driver Refresher Course and Master Driver User training, as assigned.
• Train and assist unit License Instructors and License Examiners.
• Support unit driver-training and licensing programs.

• Experience working with License Instructors, License Examiners, or unit Master Driver programs.
• Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners and provide hands-on technical coaching.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications used for reports, presentations, and training products.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Master Driver, License Instructor, License Examiner, or comparable qualification/experience.
• SAV, COMET, inspection-support, or unit-readiness experience.
• TC-AIMS, ICODES, unit movement, air-load, rail-load, or deployment-planning experience.
• Graduate of ABIC, FIFC, CTC, or equivalent DoD/TRADOC instructor training.
• Active Secret eligibility/clearance.

Security and Installation Access

Active Secret eligibility/clearance is anticipated to be required for onsite personnel at contract start, subject to final Government requirements. The selected candidate must also be able to satisfy installation-access, background-investigation, CAC, and Government information-system access requirements applicable to the position.

Work Location and Schedule

Work will primarily be performed at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. Some driver-training, field, SAV, or inspection-support requirements may occur outside normal core hours.
