Job summary

Summit Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Master Driver / Driver Training Technical Instructor to serve as the SME for Army driver training, Master Driver programs, licensing, and operator-training management at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, GA.

The role requires coordinating with License Instructors and Examiners, delivering refresher and user training, and ensuring compliance with GCSS-Army processes. An Active Secret clearance is anticipated, with occasional travel and after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of Army Master Driver, driver-training, licensing, transportation, or related logistics experience.
• Strong knowledge of Army driver-training and licensing processes.
• Knowledge of GCSS-Army driver-management functions.
• Experience working with License Instructors, License Examiners, or Master Driver programs.
• Ability to teach adult learners and provide hands-on coaching.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reports and training products.

Responsibilities

• Teach the GCSS-Army Master Driver Refresher Course and Master Driver User training.
• Train and assist License Instructors and License Examiners.
• Support unit driver-training and licensing programs.
• Provide onsite Driver Training Instructor Operations assistance.
• Support driver-training SAVs and Government-led inspection activities.
• Evaluate unit driver-training programs, identify weaknesses, and coach personnel on corrective procedures.
• Support leader and unit training related to operator licensing and driver-program management.
• Cross-train in movement and transportation functions where qualified.
• Prepare or contribute to briefings, trend reports, training records, and other required products.
