Ryder is seeking a Master Level Diesel Technician in Jacksonville, FL to perform advanced maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles. You will diagnose complex issues, utilize diagnostic tools, and mentor junior technicians in a safety-focused shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required to perform maintenance and repair.
• Demonstrated aptitude in mechanical repair of gas/diesel engines.
• Four years or more relevant work experience preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred; other certifications as location requires.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and preventive vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic issues.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot vehicles.
• Coach/mentor other technicians and assist shop management.
• Vehicle road tests and site testing as required.
• Maintain clear documentation and comply with safety standards.
