Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Master Level Diesel Technician in Fort Myers, FL. The role focuses on heavy-duty diesel vehicle repair, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance with opportunities for advanced ASE certifications and longstanding career growth.

Eligible candidates demonstrate hands-on experience, safe work practices, and the ability to work shifts and weekends as required. PTO from day one and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two+ years of diesel repair experience preferred.
• ASE certifications for relevant systems are a plus.
• CDL class A license preferred.
• Proficient in diagnostic tools and shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and complex preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform road tests and post-repair tests to verify fixes.
• Collaborate with team and mentor junior technicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
