Job summary

CI&T is seeking a Master DataOps Engineer to own the operational backbone of a large-scale Finance data platform modernization for a major US mortgage lender. You will manage environments, CI/CD, monitoring, and cost governance to ensure reliability and scalable operations from day one.

Role requires solid DataOps experience, strong CI/CD for data pipelines, and Snowflake expertise. Fluency in English (B2+) is essential as you liaise with client and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in DataOps/platform engineering for a production cloud data platform.
• Hands-on CI/CD for data pipelines with multiple environments.
• Experience monitoring a CDC replication pipeline and cloud data warehouse (Snowflake preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own environment provisioning and platform readiness across lakehouse and cloud-warehouse layers.
• Build and operate the CI/CD pipeline for metric definitions and transformations.
• Implement monitoring and alerting across the pipeline including cost/consumption anomalies.
• Own platform cost attribution and consumption monitoring across warehouses and compute.
• Maintain architecture decision records and hand over runbooks to client's operations team.
• Support knowledge transfer through paired sessions during the build.
