Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Group is seeking a Data Specialist to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data within our SAP environment as we transition to S/4HANA Cloud. You will oversee end-to-end data creation, maintenance, and governance for materials and customers.

The role collaborates with Credit, Trade, and IT teams, enforcing data standards and reporting reliability. It follows a flexible hybrid schedule: two days in the office and three days remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent training and work experience.
• 3+ years in master data input and maintenance using SAP ERP (ECC or S/4HANA).
• Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL) and database concepts.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK) and SAP MDG.
• Proficient with SharePoint and SAP Information Steward; MS Office suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication, diplomacy, and customer service.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently or within a team.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and maintenance of material master data with product info and packaging, per standards using Automate Evolve platform.
• Create and enrich customer master data (profiles, sales areas, credit) for accurate account management.
• Conduct data quality checks and audits to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Implement and enforce data governance policies and meet SLAs for data creation and maintenance.
• Define data definitions and standards with process owners.
• Monitor data quality metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in data governance committees and train end-users.
• Publish data quality KPIs and address breaches.
• Ensure compliance with CCPA and security protocols; support audits.
• Participate in projects like supplier onboarding, M&A, and S/4 upgrades; perform data transformation and integration.
• Investigate and resolve master data issues; support migration and integration.
• Other duties as assigned.
