Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an SAP MDG Lead to design, implement, and govern the Master Data Governance framework for the S/4HANA program. You will centralize master data, automate workflows, and enforce data rules across Financials, Business Partners, and Materials in a federal environment.

You will configure MDG (BP, MDG‑F/S/C/M) and coordinate with data workstreams, BTP, and middleware teams to ensure data quality and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with SAP MDG implementations, with deep expertise in MDG-F, MDG-S, MDG-C, or MDG-M.
• Hands-on experience with SAP MDG technical framework, BRFplus, ABAP OO, and BADI implementations.
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA BP and the Universal Journal’s impact on master data.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern the SAP MDG architecture, including deployment model choices and data model definition.
• Establish and enforce enterprise-grade data standards and validation rules.
• Lead hands-on MDG configuration: Data Modeling, UI Modeling (Floorplan Manager), Process Modeling (Workflow), Data Quality Remediation.
• Design and implement complex Change Request workflows for data stewardship and federal audit readiness.
• Lead data load strategies, consolidation of duplicate records, and mass data changes using MDG integration services.
• Act as liaison between Data workstream and functional squads to ensure master data supports end-to-end processes.
• Partner with BTP and Middleware teams to manage data distribution to SAP and non-SAP systems using SOA, ALE/IDoc, or OData.
• Utilize SAP Information Steward or MDG DQM to monitor data health and drive remediation.
