Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Master Data Specialist for a 6-month contract engagement. This role will focus heavily on data research, validation, and quality remediation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of critical business data. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills who enjoys investigative data work in a collaborative environment.

This is a hybrid opportunity which reports to Wayne, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data cleanup and data quality remediation activities
• Identify and correct missing or inaccurate tax IDs
• Research and validate entities to ensure proper identification
• Verify and validate nonprofit status
• Conduct research using a variety of sources, including IRS websites, Chambers of Commerce, Public records and databases
• Update and maintain accurate party/entity data records
• Ensure consistency and integrity across master data systems

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, or a related data operations role
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including lookup functions, pivot tables, filtering, and data cleaning techniques)
• Experience working with MDM tools (e.g., Informatica or similar platforms)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct independent research
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Basic proficiency in SQL or other data querying/manipulation tools preferred
