Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Master Data Manager to shape enterprise master data practices across the organization. This hands-on leader will drive data definitions, lifecycle processes, and governance, partnering with data owners and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented Food & Beverages environment. For our client, we are seeking a Master Data Manager to join the team of a leader in the Food & Beverages space. This role will shape and operationalize enterprise master data practices that support consistency, quality, and governance across the organization. You will partner closely with business data owners and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen data definitions, lifecycle processes, and decision-making. The position plays a key role in turning data governance strategy into practical standards, controls, and remediation workflows that improve business execution. It is well suited for a hands‑on leader who can balance process discipline, collaboration, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $120,000 – $136,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Translate master data strategy into actionable standards and procedures
• Facilitate the Data Governance Council, including agenda preparation and decision materials
• Develop and enforce enterprise data definitions and validation rules
• Manage end-to-end master data lifecycle processes and workflows
• Administer governance across multiple master data domains
• Establish data quality rules and coordinate remediation processes
• Partner with business data owners to clarify accountability and support decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
• 5+ years of experience in master data management, data governance, or ERP-enabled business processes
• Experience leading cross-functional governance and process-design initiatives
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems; strong preference for master data experience
• Knowledge of data governance principles, lifecycle management, and data quality
• Strong analytical skills for identifying root causes and interpreting metrics
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
