We are actively hiring for Master Data Management Lead and this is in Sunnyvale, CA.

Contract

Senior individual contributor owning master data for product development supply chain — the product, item, and supplier records created and matured as hardware moves from concept through NPI, ramp, and launch into sustaining. The governance framework, data quality rules, and KPIs are already established; this role exists to make them run themselves

• Own the product development master data domain. Act as the authority on how product, item, and supplier master data is created, governed, and consumed across engineering, planning, manufacturing, and finance — and on the standards, definitions, and stewardship model that keep it trustworthy.
• Hold the line on data quality and lifecycle integrity. Own master data health as records mature through NPI stage gates, engineering change, and launch — attribute completeness, standards conformance, exception resolution, and readiness to support downstream planning and financial systems.

Agentic and automation

• Turn the agentic roadmap into delivered automation. Review and pressure-test the plan that will be in place before you start, align stakeholders, and execute it. Judgment about sequencing and feasibility matters as much as throughput.
• Design and build agentic master data operations. Replace manual record creation, enrichment, completeness checking, exception triage, data quality enforcement, and launch readiness validation with AI agents that hold up on production data, keeping humans on judgment calls rather than keystrokes.
• Build hands-on, and build for handover from day one. Prototype working solutions yourself using AI coding assistants, with prompt and context engineering and evaluation discipline strong enough to trust autonomous behavior on real master data — and document, assign ownership, and enable the team so everything you build keeps running and extending without you.

Required

• Hands-on Oracle Fusion experience is required — this is a hard requirement, not a preference. Demonstrated depth in Oracle Fusion Product Data Hub (PDH) / PIM: item master and catalog configuration, item classes and attribute groups, data loads via FBDI and CCO, and OTBI reporting. You should be able to work in the environment from week one without a ramp.
• 12+ years in MDM, data governance, or enterprise data architecture at principal scope.
• Deep product development supply chain experience — NPI, engineering change, BOM and item master maturation, and the design‑to‑manufacturing handoff.
• Hands‑on PLM experience, working directly with engineering design data — part and BOM structures, revisions and effectivity, engineering change orders, and how design intent becomes a released, manufacturable item master record.
• Working experience across other arms of the supply chain — 3PL and logistics, service and spares, OTM/transportation, and supply and demand planning — with a practical understanding of how each consumes master data and what breaks downstream when it is wrong.
• Proven as the intermediary between business and technical teams. Able to elicit requirements from business stakeholders, translate them into something engineering can build, and communicate back through delivery — including where scope, feasibility, or sequencing has to change.
• Demonstrable hands‑on AI tooling and prompt engineering work you can walk through.
• Python or SQL proficiency; able to build and debug your own work.
Track record of shipping inside short fixed‑term engagements.
