Job summary

Bray International, Inc. seeks an experienced MDM/PIM leader to define and drive enterprise data strategies across ERP, CRM, and PLM/EDM ecosystems. You will shape metadata standards, data models, and governance while stewarding data quality and ownership across the organization.

The role requires deep manufacturing domain knowledge, leadership, and hands-on delivery of MDM/PIM initiatives using Infor MDM or similar platforms, with collaboration across IT and business teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Master Data Management (MDM), Product Information Management (PIM), or Data Architecture.
• Proven success implementing and managing MDM/PIM platforms — preferably Infor MDM, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of data integration across ERP, CRM, and PLM/Engineering Data Management systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in metadata management, data modeling, hierarchy management, and taxonomy design for master and product data.
• Experience with data governance frameworks, data quality management, and master data workflows.
• Familiarity with data integration technologies (APIs, ETL, middleware, EDI, or Infor ION).
• Solid understanding of product lifecycle data, BOMs, engineering change management, and supply chain master data.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise MDM/PIM strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate digital transformation goals.
• Architect scalable MDM/PIM solutions that manage key master data domains: Product, Customer, Vendor, Material, and Location.
• Drive data integration architecture between MDM/PIM and enterprise systems — including ERP, CRM, and PLM/Engineering Data Management systems.
• Establish and maintain metadata standards, hierarchies, taxonomies, and data models to support consistent data representation across business functions and systems.
• Define data flows, synchronization strategies, and governance mechanisms to maintain a single, authoritative source of truth.
• Manage full lifecycle delivery of MDM/PIM initiatives — from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Oversee configuration, customization, and continuous improvement of Infor MDM (or equivalent MDM/PIM system).
• Ensure high data quality, usability, and accessibility across integrated enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to translate data requirements into technical designs and functional workflows.
• Develop and implement data governance frameworks, ownership models, approval workflows, and data stewardship processes.
• Coordinate with supply chain, engineering, finance, and sales functions to align data processes and ownership.
• Design and implement data integration frameworks connecting MDM/PIM systems to ERP, CRM, and Engineering Data Management tools using APIs, ETL, or middleware platforms.
• Partner with BI and Analytics teams to make curated master data available for reporting, dashboards, and data-driven insights.
• Ensure MDM and PIM architectures support data lineage tracking, metadata management, and downstream analytics platforms.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless data integration across ERP, CRM, and Engineering Data Management (PLM/EDM) systems, while defining and governing metadata standards, hierarchies, taxonomies, and data models for master and product data. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, business process understanding, and leadership experience within the manufacturing sector, particularly around Infor MDM or similar enterprise MDM/PIM tools.

• Solution Delivery and System Ownership

• Integration, Analytics, and Data Enablement
• Design and implement data integration frameworks connecting MDM/PIM systems to ERP, CRM, and Engineering Data Management tools using APIs, ETL, or middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Infor ION).
• Partner with BI and Analytics teams to make curated master data available for reporting, dashboards, and data-driven insights.
• Ensure MDM and PIM architectures support data lineage tracking, metadata management, and downstream analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake).
• Leadership, Governance, and Change Management
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise MDM/PIM solutions and enhancements.
• Provide thought leadership in master data governance, taxonomy management, and data architecture best practices.
• Train and mentor business data stewards, process owners, and technical teams.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and promote a culture of data accountability and ownership across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s, or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related discipline.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Product Information Management (PIM), or Data Architecture
• Proven success implementing and managing MDM/PIM platforms — preferably Infor MDM, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of data integration across ERP, CRM, and PLM/Engineering Data Management systems within a manufacturing environment.
