Job summary

Vallourec North America is seeking a Master Data Analyst to support warehouse implementation and govern stock part-number nomenclature standards. The role collaborates with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Sourcing to apply standards for stock control by part number and related business processes.

The successful candidate will manage master data across systems, enforce data quality, and drive continuous improvement in data governance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Industrial Management.
• 3+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SAP; PR/PO processes, goods/services descriptions, and part-number nomenclature.

Responsibilities

• Support operations by creating, monitoring, and analyzing master data, key data, and master relationship data within the organization.
• Ensure quality of master data in key systems and document processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity.
• Define and implement data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
• Work with business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and application operations meet requirements.
• Maintain material master, including creation of new items, description changes, min/max changes, etc.
• Obsolete tracking through approvals, perform SAP transactions to remove items from inventory and dispose of items.
• Monitor campus-wide inventory levels; conduct monthly reviews with internal stakeholders to analyze inventory data (Power BI) by MRP control area responsibility.
