Abbott Park, IL-based organization Abbott is seeking a Master Data Analyst for a 12-month, 100% onsite assignment to maintain vendor master data and support related processes.

The role emphasizes data accuracy and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders while handling AP/vendor data tasks. A finance/accounting/business background with hands-on experience in vendor maintenance is required.

Qualifications

• Background in Finance, Accounting, or Business with hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, Vendor Maintenance, Customer Maintenance, or Finance Operations.
• Role focuses on maintaining accurate vendor master records and supporting related processes.
• Candidate must understand how data affects downstream tasks and must ensure accuracy.
• Ability to review multiple records, assess data needs, and apply training constraints.

Responsibilities

• Calling suppliers to verify critical data; triaging and analyzing ticket requests; analyzing current data against requested data.
• Creating and updating vendor records; communicating with internal stakeholders.
• Interact with external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• For this role, 90% of work will consist of analyzing and performing work on vendor records via ticket requests.

Qualifications:

• seeking candidates with Finance, Accounting, or Business backgrounds and hands-on experience in functions such as Accounts Payable, Vendor Maintenance, Customer Maintenance, or Finance Operations.
• This role is focused on maintaining accurate vendor master records and supporting related business processes.
• Candidate must be aware how the data can affect downstream tasks (purchase orders, invoice payments) and accuracy is non-negotiable.

• data and apply constraints provided in training, use judgement to make decision on how to move forward.
