Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a Custom Parts Associate to facilitate the production of custom stair parts, keep projects on schedule, and ensure safety and quality while delivering excellent customer service to customers.

Responsibilities include building parts (treads, curbing, balusters) to specifications, measuring components, resolving assembly problems, maintaining equipment, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Woodworking and trim carpentry experience required.
• Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math.
• Knowledge of wood species and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Build custom stair parts (treads, curbing, balusters) within schedule.
• Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
• Resolve assembly problems by adjusting dimensions and notifying supervisor.
• Maintain equipment via preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Keep the workspace safe and clean in accordance with procedures.
• Request needed material from Warehouse to avoid delays.
• Conserve resources by using tools and materials efficiently.
• Contribute to team efforts and perform related duties as assigned.
