Job summary

Pains USA, Inc. in Illinois is seeking a skilled Master Craftsman to perform commercial and industrial painting and coatings. You will deliver high-quality workmanship, follow safety procedures, wear PPE, and work with boom lifts, sprayers and blasting equipment as part of a tight-knit crew.

Strong attention to detail and reliability are essential. This full-time, hourly role offers overtime potential, 40 hours paid leave after 90 days, comprehensive health and life benefits, 401(k) matching

Qualifications

• 1+ year commercial or industrial painting/coatings experience.
• Strong safety awareness and knowledge.
• Experience using trade tools, materials, and equipment.
• Valid driver's license + clean MVR.
• Reliable transportation (job sites may vary).
• Successful completion of drug and alcohol screening.
• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled commercial/industrial painting and coatings work.
• Deliver consistent, high-quality craftsmanship while meeting production expectations.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Recognize and report hazards; help maintain a safe job site.
• Use tools, materials, and equipment properly and efficiently (E.g., Boom lifts, Sprayers, Blasting, etc.).
• Participate in ongoing training and career development.
• Work with minimal on-site supervision while supporting a highly engaged crew.

Compensation: $24.25 - $26.75 per hour + overtime potential

Basic Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 15-50 lbs
• Frequent bending, kneeling, ladder work
• Use of power tools and equipment as required

Working Conditions

• This position requires working indoors and outdoors at various job sites. Employees may be exposed to heat, cold, dust, humidity, and other environmental conditions. Candidates must be comfortable performing physical tasks safely in changing environmental conditions.
