Summary Statement

The Master Cook for Stubborn Seed will support assistant chefs and work across various stations within the kitchen. Responsibilities include supporting the kitchen team, conducting product inventories, preparing all menu items, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Primary Job Duties
  1. Evaluate cooked food before serving to ensure optimal taste and presentation.
  2. Assist multiple stations with food preparation, cooking, and plating as needed.
  3. Ensure sanitation procedures and work area organization comply with health regulations.
  4. Maintain food and supply inventories, notifying management of restocking needs.
  5. Use personal devices for job-related operational tasks and reviewing company documents.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ability to translate recipes into dishes.
  • Excellent knife skills.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Leadership and mentorship abilities.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Minimum Education and Experience
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • At least 3 years of cooking experience in a full-service, fine dining restaurant.
Preferred Qualifications

Certificates and Licenses
