Bloomberg LP has built a significant media business spanning television, digital, magazine, radio, and live event platforms across the globe. Bloomberg Media is growing its global footprint through innovations like Bloomberg Originals, Bloomberg TV+, and Bloomberg Businessweek.

Bloomberg is seeking a Master Control & Transmissions Operator for a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate is focused, flexible, and experienced in broadcast operations.

Responsibilities include:

1. Coordinate inbound and outbound transmissions; manage fiber/satellite vendors
2. Maintain integrity of video/audio codecs, streaming, and transmission tech
3. Check-in remote guests, color correct feeds, operate routing systems
4. Uplink/downlink satellite feeds and optimize signals
5. Connect to units and QC signals via LiveU Central
6. Collaborate with departments to manage video input/output for broadcast, website, Bloomberg Terminal, etc.
7. Oversee commercial breaks and logs
8. Work with reporters and producers on live output and OB setup
9. Maintain relationships with live show producers to assist in obtaining remote feeds

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines
• Knowledge of color correction and QC for remote feeds
• Experience with RTS PAP IFB panels
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Experience with LiveU, fiber, IP technologies; satellite experience a plus

Salary Range: $30-$35 USD hourly
