Job summary

You will operate broadcast equipment, set up satellite reception, and manage on-air programs and breaks according to the program log, while troubleshooting issues and maintaining reliability across the station’s feeds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in television is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Knowledge of related hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Operate state-of-the-art broadcast equipment and on-air playback systems.
• Set up satellite dishes and receivers for programming reception.
• Record programming and prepare for air with proper timing information.
• Switch live content on-air, including local inserts and crawls.
• Monitor transmissions for quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and ensure reliability.
