Job summary

Young Automotive Group is seeking a Master Technician to join our fast-paced, modern shop in Layton, Utah. Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles while using advanced diagnostic tools and manufacturer training.

We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified technicians, access to our Center of Excellence, and comprehensive benefits including health, 401k, dental and life insurance. ASE certification preferred but not required; valid driver's license and strong problem-solving

Qualifications

• ASE Certification preferred, not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience as Automotive Technician or mechanic.
• Strong understanding of diagnostics and automotive technology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections).
• Work with modern automotive systems, including hybrid and electric vehicle technology.
• Ensure repairs meet industry standards and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
