Job summary

Shaheen Cadillac of Lansing is seeking a skilled Master Certified Service Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles in a busy, state-of-the-art shop. The role offers a sign-on bonus potential and a supportive, family-owned environment in Mid-Michigan.

Typical duties include diagnosing malfunctions, performing repairs to dealership standards, and coordinating with the parts department. A strong emphasis on safety, training, and customer service is expected.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• State certifications required (ASE).

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnoses and repairs in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and performs repairs.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Documents all work performed on the repair order.
• Road tests vehicles when required or referred to the test technician.
• Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training and events.
• Keeps abreast of technical bulletins and maintains tools and manuals.
