Job summary

Shaheen Chevrolet Cadillac of Lansing is opening a new state-of-the-art body shop in late 2026 and seeks an Auto Body & Collision Technician. Experience preferred. We offer competitive pay with bonus potential and a large, busy shop.

The role involves repairing vehicle bodies per estimates, ordering parts, and maintaining safety standards. Certifications include I-CAR and Michigan license; valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience and/or training.
• I-CAR Certificate of Advanced Training
• State of Michigan collision repair license

Responsibilities

• Repairs damaged body parts and bodies to factory specifications and time standards.
• Repairs vehicle per estimate and manufacturer standards.
• Checks parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received.
• Prepares vehicles for body repair work.
• Notifies management of any additional repairs needed.
