Job summary

Shaheen Cadillac in Lansing, MI seeks a Master Certified Service Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles in a state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled shop within a busy service team.

The role offers a sign-on bonus to right candidates, a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm with no weekends, and a comprehensive benefits package including insurance, 401K, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience and/or training.
• State certifications required: ASE and Michigan license.
• ASE Certifications and Michigan Repair License (one or more).
• Certifications in Electrical/Electronic Systems, Brakes or Engine Performance are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnoses causes of malfunctions and performs repairs.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or requested.
• Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.
• Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs.
• Maintains dealership-owned tools and keeps the work area neat.
