Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a Senior Painter - Cab Paint to apply topcoat and clear coat finishes on truck cabs. The role requires strict adherence to safety, quality, and production standards, with emphasis on detail and consistency.

The candidate will operate in an onsite environment, handling painting tasks across cab components, and will participate in team-driven processes to maintain production pace and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Must pass paint physical.
• Must pass respiratory physical.
• Must apply Topcoat and Clear coat to all parts and meet quality criteria.
• Must climb ladders to paint cab roofs.
• Must work in a team environment.
• Must rotate painting different cab parts.
• Must wear fresh air hood and suit during painting.
• Must follow safety procedures for waste and hazardous materials.
• Must use required hand tools and paint equipment.
• Must use power tools in assigned tasks.
• Must key production processes at required pace.
• Complete spot repairs.
• Prep for Paint, blend and clear within cycle time.
• Repair dents, use Bondo and fiberglass, feather sanded bodywork within cycle time.
• Panel paint within cycle time.
• Tear down and rebuild painted parts without damage.
