Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a Senior Painter - Cab Paint to apply high-quality finishes to truck cabs at our Mount Holly, NC location. You will ensure safety, quality, and production standards while maintaining attention to detail in an industrial painting environment.

The role requires climbing ladders, using topcoat and clear coat, and working in a team. Candidates should be able to rotate tasks across cab areas and wear appropriate PPE in paint booths.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass paint physical.
• Must pass respiratory physical.
• Must be able to completely apply Topcoat and Clear coat to all parts of cab and meet quality appearance criteria.
• Must be able to climb ladders to paint roofs of cabs.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must rotate painting different parts of cabs.
• Must wear fresh air hood and suit when applying topcoat or in paint booths.

Responsibilities

• Apply high-quality paint finishes to truck cabs while meeting safety, quality, and production standards.
• Complete spot repairs, prep for paint, blend and clear within cycle time.
• Repair dents and feather out bodywork using suitable materials to cycle time.
• Tear down and rebuild painted parts without damage.
