Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Master Technician to repair and maintain vehicles per dealership and factory standards, building loyalty through trust and reliability. You will communicate with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer updates, diagnose issues, perform authorized repairs, and complete multi-point inspections for safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training (varies by store).
• Attention to detail.
• Organization and follow-up skills.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair/maintenance as per repair order to dealer and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend safety improvements.
• Document work on the repair order and maintain tool inventory.
