Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Master Technician to repair and maintain vehicles per dealer and factory standards, building trust with customers and ensuring safety and reliability. You will diagnose issues, perform multi-point inspections, and document all work on the repair order.

You’ll communicate with Parts and Service Advisors, keep tools organized, stay current with factory bulletins, and participate in training programs. A path to advancement awaits across our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Mopar / Stellantis Certifications required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of automotive technician experience.
• Automotive technical training as needed.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards, to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with the Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and performing repair, if authorized by the Customer.
• Conducting multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure the safety and reliability of Customer vehicles.
• Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Maintaining an inventory of normal Technician’s tools not normally inventoried by the Service department as “special tools.”
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
