AutoNation is seeking a Master Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance to dealer and factory standards, building customer trust and confidence in AutoNation as a care-giver for vehicle safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training is required and varies by store.
• Attention to detail for accurate repairs.
• Organizational and follow-up skills are important for service workflow.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose malfunction causes and perform repairs if authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and make recommendations for safety and reliability.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Maintain an inventory of tools not normally inventoried by Service as special tools.
• Keep up to date with factory technical bulletins and training classes.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
