Job summary

AutoNation is hiring a Certified Technician to repair and maintain vehicles per dealer and factory standards. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete multi-point inspections while communicating with parts and service advisors to ensure smooth workflow.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of automotive technician experience, a high school diploma, and a valid in-state license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years as automotive technician required.
• Automotive technical training varies by location; OEM certification supported.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills required.
• Valid in-state driver license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance per repair order, to dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and communication.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair if authorized by customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend safety and reliability improvements.
• Document work on the repair order and manage tool inventory as needed.
• Stay updated with factory bulletins and participate in training classes.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
