Job summary

Larry H Miller Genesis Peoria in Peoria, AZ is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to repair and diagnose vehicles across major systems including engine, electrical, brakes and HVAC. You will uphold guest-centric service and dealership standards while delivering quality workmanship.

ASE and manufacturer certifications are highly preferred; a valid driver's license and ability to pass background/drug tests are required.

Qualifications

Experience as a Master Automotive Service Technician preferred; ASE certifications heavily preferred; manufacturer certifications preferred.
Previous automotive technician experience required.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Perform repair work outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy per dealership and factory standards.
Examine vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders; communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed.
Maintain technician proficiency as specified by Asbury standards; conduct road tests as needed.
Participate in manufacturer training and continuously expand knowledge of new technology.
