Job summary

Larry H. Miller Subaru Boise in Boise, ID is seeking an Experienced Automotive Technician to perform routine repairs, diagnose complex issues, and deliver outstanding service to customers.

You will use your mechanical skills to service vehicles, document work, and collaborate with service teams to ensure quality and efficiency. We value ASE and Manufacturer certifications, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must have basic tools.
• Must have great technical and mechanical skills.
• Must be a team player and able to work on complex tasks.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug test.
• ASE and Manufacturer certifications are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and diagnostics on customer vehicles.
• Complete multi-point inspections and document repairs.
• Communicate with service advisors about additional work or delays.
• Maintain technician proficiency per Asbury standards.
• Road-test vehicles to confirm repairs when safe to do so.
• Participate in manufacturer training to stay current with new technology.
