LeadCar GMC Utica is seeking an experienced Master-Level Automotive Service Technician with strong GM diagnostic experience to diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems. This role emphasizes high-quality drivability, electrical, and performance repairs, delivering accurate service the first time.

You will operate in a flat-rate environment, mentor apprentices, and stay current with GM bulletins and training. Competitive hourly pay plus bonuses and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Technical or trade school degree required.
• Minimum of three years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Master Technician-level experience with advanced diagnostics and drivability repairs.
• Ability to work efficiently in a flat-rate service environment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems accurately and efficiently.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of drivability, electrical, mechanical, and performance-related concerns.
• Complete repairs per dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly with service advisors.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and warranty information.
• Stay current with manufacturer bulletins and new vehicle technologies.
• Conduct road tests as required to verify repairs.
• Mentor and support apprentice and developing technicians.
