Job summary

Herb Chambers Honda of Burlington is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician (A-Level) to repair vehicles and contribute to guest satisfaction. The role requires manufacturer certifications and a strong diagnostic skill set, with pay of $34.00 to $42.00 per hour and weekly pay.

You'll perform repairs per repair orders, test drives, document work, and maintain safety and quality standards while participating in training.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications heavily preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred.
• Must have basic tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be a team player and have strong mechanical skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test).

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Maintain technician proficiency as specified by Asbury standards.
• Conduct road tests to determine work needed and confirm work completed.
