Job summary

Nurtur Aveda at the Aveda Institute Wilmington is seeking an educator to inspire students and guide them from classroom to clinic floor, helping develop future beauty and wellness leaders in a thriving academic setting.

You will demonstrate techniques, uphold standards, and mentor learners while collaborating with leadership to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the company mission. This full-time role includes flexible scheduling to accommodate classes and events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active state Massage Therapy license.
• Experience in a salon/spa setting.
• Ability to lead, manage time, and work under deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer service focus and alignment with the company mission.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing recognition, support, and motivation for students.
• Actively engage students in their education through demonstrations, activities, and interactive teaching.
• Check with students for understanding and adjust teaching methods as needed.
• Serve as a role model by communicating and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Overcome objections by offering valid solutions and maintain strong organizational skills.
• Partner with Director and Education Manager to ensure compliance with NACCAS and State Board regulations.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
