Job summary

Nurtur Aveda Institute Wilmington is seeking an experienced educator to lead and teach in the Massage Therapy Program. You will oversee curriculum development, student assessments, and licensure compliance, while mentoring a team of educators in a fast-paced school environment.

The role requires strong leadership, teaching skills, and a commitment to student success, with the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Prior salon/spa experience is favored.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• A valid Massage Therapy license and maintenance of such license.
• Experience in a salon/spa setting.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively teach and facilitate classes for the Massage Therapy Program.
• Oversee curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provide ongoing recognition, support, and motivation for students and team.
• Mentor educators and foster continuous professional development.
• Ensure compliance with NC Board of Massage & Bodywork Therapy licensure requirements.
