Job description

The Denver Hospice has an immediate opening for a Massage Therapist on our Pediatrics team.

LOCATION: Denver, CO

STATUS: PRN

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm as needed

HOURLY PAY RANGE: $28.20 - $28.79

SUPPLEMENTAL PAY: Based on position, schedule and/or availability: Paid Mileage, Shift Differentials, Stipends, Overtime

MILEAGE AND EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT: Sixty-two and a half cents per mile – one of the highest in the industry!

REWARDING WORK YOU WILL DO:

Evaluates patient goals and develops a treatment plan of massage therapy interventions to fit the needs, abilities and medical history of pediatric patients.

  • Use physical manipulation of muscles to ease muscle contractures, spasms, extensions, muscle relaxation and muscle tension.
  • Periodically evaluates patient's progress toward established goals.
  • Maintains clinical notes and records.
  • Coordinates the massage therapy program with other services such as clinical, psychological and social service in order to accomplish overall therapeutic goals.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE GOING TO LOVE ABOUT YOU:

  • Minimum Education: Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum Experience: Massage Therapy, two years required.
  • Required License: Certified Massage Therapist required. Approved registration must be in good standing with the Colorado Office of Massage Therapy Registration.Current CPR certification based on individual affiliate requirements. Valid Colorado driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance in accordance with state statute.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift/push/pull minimum of 35 lbs.

Care Synergy provides mission support services to better equip The Denver Hospiceto operate as a distinct and independent organization while working together to share best practices and serve more Coloradans along the Front Range.
