Job Description

The Massage Therapist is responsible for guest satisfaction in the spa by performing services to the best of their ability, maintaining Omni standards throughout all procedures, and working cohesively with the spa team.

Responsibilities
  • Consistently maintain visual and behavioral professionalism while on Omni property.
  • Provide the highest possible standard of treatment through our spa protocolled experience.
  • Assist in maintaining all guest and associate areas according to the set standard of operations.
  • Ensure all par levels are met at open and close of each shift within the daily assigned treatment room.
  • Meet cleanliness requirements at open and close of each shift within the daily assigned treatment room.
  • Maintain sanitation of work area and equipment as required by state board guidelines.
  • Use all professional stock products in compliance with PAR levels to reduce product waste.
  • Begin and end treatments at scheduled, protocolled times, in compliance with published guidelines.
  • Complete and deliver retail prescription form after every service.
  • Consistently encourage upgrades and produce a minimum of 10% in retail sales per day / week / month.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings and trainings scheduled for the spa.
Qualifications
  • Active Florida massage license is required.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in massage therapy, preferably in an upscale salon or spa.
  • Ability to clearly communicate effectively and consistently in English.
  • Maintain compliance with the Florida State Board sanitation/sterilization procedures.
  • Commitment to work independently, as needed, while ensuring team needs are also met.
  • Dependable in fulfilling work times as scheduled, understanding shifts may vary as business levels fluctuate, including on‑call scheduling needs.
  • Commitment to exceed the expectations of guests, always operating with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, managing back‑to‑back appointments in a high‑volume 4‑diamond environment.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds with frequent bending, reaching overhead, and twisting.
  • Stand and/or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion, with consistent use of hands and arms.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules, including on call for evenings, weekends and holidays.
