Job summary

Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa in Florida seeks a spa team member to perform professional facial and cosmetic treatments from the current menu.

You will maintain treatment knowledge, follow standards, and contribute to guest safety and exceptional service while representing the resort's hospitality brand.

Responsibilities include guiding guests, sharing resort information, and supporting inventory and tours of salon facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Current State Cosmetology License.
• 1 year minimum experience in hair services.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Effective communicator.
• Flexible and cooperative.
• Self motivated.
• Able to sit, stand and walk up to 8 hours.
• Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
• May be required to work evenings and overtime occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of treatments and spa trends.
• Provide treatments per standards and protocols.
• Eliminate or reduce risk of injury to guests and staff.
• Know emergency actions and respond appropriately.
• Share resort information, hours, events with guests and staff.
• Conduct salon tours and related facilities.
• Participate in periodic product inventory.

Overview

This team member will provide professional facial and cosmetic treatments offered on the current spa treatment menu to clients for hygienic or therapeutic purposes.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up to date knowledge of all treatments and services offered on the current salon treatment menu, as well as trends and developments within the professional spa community related to products, treatment and techniques.
• Provides treatments in accordance with established standards and protocols within the assigned structure.
• Demonstrates commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and employee partners, damage to our property or the property of others.
• Knows the correct action to take in the event of an emergency, and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.
• Knows and share information about the resort and activities, demonstrate this knowledge by accurately communicating daily events, hours of operation and resort/activity information to our guests and employee partners
• Conducts tours of the salon and related facilities.
• Participates in periodic product inventory as scheduled.
