Job summary

San Diego Mission Bay Resort is looking for an On Call Massage Therapist to join our spa team. You will provide guests with exceptional massage services, leveraging Swedish and deep tissue techniques while maintaining a welcoming, safe environment.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on experience, a current massage license for San Diego or CMA certification, and a flexible, guest-oriented mindset to thrive in a bustling resort setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on massage experience in a similar sized hotel.
• Experience with Swedish, deep tissue and other massage techniques.
• Licensed massage therapist in City of San Diego or CMA certified required.

San Diego Mission Bay Resort is a sprawling 357-room resort, boasting multiple dining options, a beautiful pool, a kids pool, astonishing Bay views, fire pits and so much more. We are excited to welcome an On Call Massage Therapist to our Mission Bay Family.

As a member of the Spa Team, your friendly, nurturing demeanor will allow you to provide our guests with the ultimate spa experience. We are looking for new team members who excel in their trade and thrive on creating a transcendent guest experience.

Requirements

• Have experience in a similar size hotel. We look for candidates with full service hotel experience, preferable in an upscale independent hotel.
• 2+ years of hands on experience
• Experience with various massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, and other massages.
• Seek to work in a beautiful hotel where you constantly meet new people.
• Are eager to learn and take pride in your work
• Are reliable, have a flexible mind-set and like to smile
• Flexible availability willingness to work on-call, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for ling periods and perform multiple massages per shift.
• Have a current Massage Therapist License from the City of San Diego and/or a certification from the California Massage Therapy Council required
