WesleyLife Hospice in Iowa provides compassionate end-of-life care with a dedicated team. We are seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our hospice team and directly impact clients’ health and comfort through skilled massage therapy.

This role offers flexible scheduling (Full-time & PRN as needed), competitive hourly pay, and a supportive, mission-driven environment where dignity and personalized care come first.

Qualifications

• Current Iowa massage therapy license.
• Two years of massage therapy experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing services through therapeutic massage to hospice clients.
• Use therapeutic touch to reduce pain, ease tension, and promote relaxation.
• Support comfort and mobility with adaptive techniques tailored to each patient’s condition.
• Observe changes and collaborate with hospice team to ensure comfort-focused care.
• Honor patient dignity, autonomy, and personal preferences.

WesleyLife Hospice offers compassionate end-of-life care services across central Iowa, including Boone, Dallas, Hamilton, Jasper, Marion, Marshall, Polk, Story, and Warren counties. Day in the life of a Massage Therapist on our Hospice Team:

• You will have the opportunity to directly and positively impact the health and wellbeing of the people you serve through the provision of professional nursing services.
• Use therapeutic touch to reduce pain, ease tension, and promote relaxation
• Support comfort and mobility with gentle, adaptive techniques tailored to each patient’s condition
• Create moments of calm for individuals — and often for their loved ones as well
• Observe subtle changes and collaborate with the hospice team to ensure comfort‑focused care
• Honor each person’s dignity, autonomy, and personal preferences
• Offer presence that speaks louder than words — a steady hand, a quiet room, a moment of peace
• Current Openings: Full-time & PRN, as needed
