Key Job Responsibilities

A massage therapist is trained and skilled in massage therapy for medicinal benefits. Massage therapy involves manipulating soft tissues and muscles to promote relaxation, treat pain from various ailments, provide comfort to patients, and support overall health.

Qualifications

• Help optimize the capital structure and support strategic initiatives.
• Maintain the agency's mission, philosophy, and core values.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures regarding patient care, safety, and emergency management.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Regulatory Requirements

• Licensed or registered in the State of MI.
• Pass criminal background and MVR checks.
• Complete health statements confirming ability to perform duties.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Proof of current automobile insurance.
• Current CPR certification (online accepted; hands-on preferred).
• TB testing as per agency policy (initial and annual screening).

Industry Experience

• Hospice and Palliative Care experience preferred.

Education

• Certificate in massage therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant accepted.
