Boyne Mountain Resort is seeking a Massage Therapist to provide professional spa massages and body treatments in a busy resort setting in Michigan. You will follow spa protocols, answer guest inquiries, and maintain high hygiene standards.

Applicants should be 18+, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and hold an active Michigan massage license with prior massage experience. The role supports the spa team and guest services across locations within the resort.

Qualifications

• Requires full Michigan Massage Therapist license.
• Prior massage therapy experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent professional spa massages and body treatments following spa protocols.
• Address guests' questions politely and promptly.
• Maintain hygiene and sterilization standards per laws and spa policies.
• Respond accurately to guest requests and needs.
• Work with minimal supervision and maintain a constructive attitude.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings to support spa operations.
• Assist in all spa areas as needed by the organization.
• Prepare, clean, and restock treatment rooms.

Responsibilities

The Massage Therapist's typical job functions include:

• Providing consistent professional spa massage and body treatments compliant with spa protocols and accepted documentation practices
• Handling guests’ queries and concerns efficiently and politely
• Upholding the standards of hygiene and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures
• Providing exact, suitable and instant responses to all requests by guests
• Possessing the aptitude to work with no direct supervision
• Maintaining a constructive attitude and add toward a quality work environment
• Regularly attending, taking part in and support training and staff meetings for the spa
• Helping in all areas of spa operation as requested by organization
• Performing prep work, correctly clean and restock room as necessary
• Communicating to administration any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that need concentration
• Actively supporting the spa, treatments, services and retail, in addition to programs, promotions and/or discounts obtainable
• Notifyingmanagement any and all occurrences connecting staff or guests in the spa that require notice
• Efficiently informing and teaching guests concerning specific wellness concerns
• Properly caring for tools and use proper amounts of manufactured goods to assist with cost controls
