Job summary

Boyne Mountain Resort seeks a friendly Massage Therapist to deliver professional spa massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols. You will maintain hygiene standards, respond to guest requests, and support the spa team across operations.

Eligibility requires a Michigan Massage Therapist license, 18+ age, and availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Prior massage experience is preferred; onsite role with resort perks including ski, golf and waterpark access.

Responsibilities

The Massage Therapist's typical job functions include:

• Providing consistent professional spa massage and body treatments compliant with spa protocols and accepted documentation practices
• Handling guests’ queries and concerns efficiently and politely
• Upholding the standards of hygiene and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures
• Providing exact, suitable and instant responses to all requests by guests
• Possessing the aptitude to work with no direct supervision
• Maintaining a constructive attitude and add toward a quality work environment
• Regularly attending, taking part in and support training and staff meetings for the spa
• Helping in all areas of spa operation as requested by organization
• Performing prep work, correctly clean and restock room as necessary
• Communicating to administration any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that need concentration
• Actively supporting the spa, treatments, services and retail, in addition to programs, promotions and/or discounts obtainable
• Notifyingmanagement any and all occurrences connecting staff or guests in the spa that require notice
• Efficiently informing and teaching guests concerning specific wellness concerns
• Properly caring for tools and use proper amounts of manufactured goods to assist with cost controls
