Job summary

Boyne Mountain Resort is seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to provide professional spa massages and body treatments in a seasonal, on-site setting. You will ensure guest satisfaction by addressing inquiries, adhering to hygiene standards, and supporting spa operations and promotions.

Applicants must hold a Michigan Massage Therapist license, have massage experience, be at least 18, and be available evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Massage Therapist license required.
• Experience in massage therapy is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The Massage Therapist's typical job functions include:

• Providing consistent professional spa massage and body treatments compliant with spa protocols and accepted documentation practices
• Handling guests’ queries and concerns efficiently and politely
• Upholding the standards of hygiene and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures
• Providing exact, suitable and instant responses to all requests by guests
• Possessing the aptitude to work with no direct supervision
• Maintaining a constructive attitude and add toward a quality work environment
• Regularly attending, taking part in and support training and staff meetings for the spa
• Helping in all areas of spa operation as requested by organization
• Performing prep work, correctly clean and restock room as necessary
• Communicating to administration any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that need concentration
• Actively supporting the spa, treatments, services and retail, in addition to programs, promotions and/or discounts obtainable
• Notifying management any and all occurrences connecting staff or guests in the spa that require notice
• Efficiently informing and teaching guests concerning specific wellness concerns
• Properly caring for tools and use proper amounts of manufactured goods to assist with cost controls

Qualifications
