Job summary

Four Seasons Silicon Valley is seeking an On-Call Spa Therapist to join our luxury team. You will set up and maintain spa spaces, assist guests with appointments, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality in a fast-paced environment.

Valid state license for massage and facial treatments is required, with weekend availability and English fluency. Competitive wage and added benefits are provided, including meals and parking.

Qualifications

• Fluent English in reading, writing and speaking is required.
• Available to work Fridays and weekends.
• High school education or equivalent is required.
• State license to perform massage and facial treatments.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain spa areas and prepare refreshments.
• Provide guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism; handle special requests and inquiries.
• Assist guests to appointments and accompany them as needed.
• Keep treatment rooms stocked and presentable; ensure linens and supplies are ready.
• Operate and sanitize equipment; adhere to spa standards and treatment sequences.
• Collaborate professionally with team members and supervisors.

The Opportunity:

Four Seasons is currently looking for a Spa Therapist (On-Call).

Essential function of the job (but are not limited to):

• Set-up and maintain Spa including refreshments in pre-treatment and treatment areas.
• Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism; accommodate special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with Spa services.
• Assist guests to their appointments as they relate to Spa services.
• Ensure an adequate supply of all guest supplies and amenities within the treatment room and lounges and ensure immaculate presentation of these items.
• Ensure treatment rooms are fully stocked with linen and supplies at all times.
• Maintain clean work areas.
• Appropriately utilize reservation systems, maintenance records, and Guest profile database as vehicles of communication to ensure guest satisfaction with all services provided.
• Adhere to Four Seasons standards and massage and body treatment sequences of service.
• Properly prepare, operate, and clean/sanitize all equipment in the treatment rooms and Spa areas.
• Ensure compliance of daily, and opening/closing checklists by walking and ensuring all areas of treatment rooms are well maintained, stocked, and cleaned to ensure high quality presentation and repair of all equipment.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

Knowledge and Skills:

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Valid license to perform body massage and facial treatment as per state law.
• Must be available to work on Fridays and weekends.
• CPR, First Aid Certified preferred.
• This position is physical by nature and requires candidates to meet all of the essential functions of this position.
• Fluency in reading, writing and spoken English is required.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required for this role.
