The Massage Therapist serves as an ambassador of the spa and brand, ensuring every guest interaction reflects warmth, expertise, and attention to detail.GENERAL DUTIES:Perform massage and body treatments according to established treatment protocols and guest preferencesGreet guests warmly with a professional salutation, ensuring a welcoming and calming experienceConduct guest consultations to assess physical well-being, preferences, and contraindications prior to treatmentCustomize treatments as appropriate to meet individual guest needs while adhering to treatment guidelinesExplain treatment services, techniques, and benefits clearly and professionallyEducate guests on recommended home-care products and spa services; actively support retail sales initiativesMaintain accurate and complete guest treatment records while ensuring strict confidentiality of all personal and medical informationUphold all sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards for treatment rooms, tools, and equipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and serene treatment environment and shared spa facilitiesParticipate in staff meetings, ongoing training, product knowledge sessions, and team initiativesBe knowledgeable of all spa services, amenities, and resort offerings to confidently answer guest inquiriesConduct spa facility tours for guests as requestedReport any guest concerns, treatment issues, injuries, or equipment malfunctions immediately to leadershipArrive for scheduled shifts on time, prepared, and in professional presentationDemonstrate flexibility with scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and peak business periodsMaintain a positive, guest-focused attitude and contribute to a collaborative team environmentFollow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materialsEnsure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards with self and colleaguesEnsure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professionalMaintain confidentiality of proprietary informationEmbody the 1 Hotels Vision, Mission and Compass; deliver on Our Promise, provide Good-Natured Service and uphold our Brand PillarsPerform other reasonable duties as assigned to support spa operationsQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
