Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Represent the Employer/Carrier before the Judge of Compensation Claims and present witnesses at hearings.
• Analyze complex legal issues and develop defense strategies for WC claims.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs supporting defense strategies.
• Provide timely communications and legal advice to clients and claims professionals.
• Develop training materials for the WC claims department.
• Work with the Law Department on WC projects.
• Maintain professional expertise through continuing legal education seminars.
