Job summary

Mercer Mass Timber seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee mass timber projects across North America, based in Spokane Valley, WA, Conway, AR, or Penticton, BC. You’ll manage the full lifecycle from design to delivery, with ~10–15% travel to sites.

Requirements include 7+ years as a Project Manager, mass timber experience preferred, a B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering, and proficiency with Bluebeam, Excel, MS Project or P6, and Procore.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of substantial experience as a Project Manager in the Construction Industry.
• Mass Timber project experience is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering (preferred).
• Experience as Preconstruction/Construction Manager in commercial/industrial manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Establish budgets and contract prices (GMP/Lump Sum).
• Coordinate with Engineering, Fabrication Design, Manufacturing and Construction teams.
• Negotiate change orders with clients and risk manager.
• Maintain cost control ledgers and track job costs against budgets.
• Prepare billing and lien waivers with Finance; ensure timely payments.
• Lead project meetings and document minutes and events.
• Manage project close-out procedures and retention where applicable.
